Restricted app IT policy and update of Appworld

Hi,

 

we are using the new IT policies for Appworld 2.0 to restrict app download. We are using a whitelist to restrict the apps and specify only the apps permitted to download.

 

Now one of our users gets the message that an update for Appworld is available (in Appworld) but is obviously not allowed the download the update because the application ID of Appworld is not present in the policy.

 

Unfortunately I do not know the app ID of Appworld itself. Can anybody help?

Hi,
I am looking exactly for the same solution.
Is there an application-ID for the AppWorld-APP itself ?
Hope someone can help....

Found the solution in the Policy Reference Guide:
"For example, if you want
to allow a user to purchase and download the BlackBerry® Messenger, BlackBerry App World, and BlackBerry®
Presenter applications, type 3729, 1, 8503"

So the app ID of the App World should be 1 !
