Cancel the install and start over again not choosing that option.

Re: Service Packs for 4.1.0 bundle60

The install had finished and I cancelled the setup wizard and restored the database, but when I click on setup it still goes to the setup wizard, not the at the begining, it's like it doesn't see that the database was restored?

Re: Service Packs for 4.1.0 bundle60

1) Uninstall BES

2) Resinstall 4.1.0 Bundle 60 pointing to the restored database (all the info should stay the same) ... it should pick up your SRP and license keys

3) Instal ldesired patch / sp

Re: Service Packs for 4.1.0 bundle60

Well ... how did you get 4.1 originally installed?

If you don't have it, you'll have to contact RIM.

Re: Service Packs for 4.1.0 bundle60

I just reinstalled the orginal 4.1.0 and it's up and running. I'll try to do the backups and redo the service pack this weekend. I've gone to best practices and I'm going back over all those documents. Do you have any other suggestions. I would like to also thank you for your help. I've been at three different forums and this forum has given me the most help. Plus you're the only one that has helped me. I would like to send you a gift card to your favorite spot for lunch if you can give me you address. You may not and that's okay, just want to thank you!

Re: Service Packs for 4.1.0 bundle60

Glad to hear Smiley Happy

I'd recommend the following:

1) Perform an OS backup of your BES

2) Perform a backup of your SQL database

3) Run service pack upgrade of your choice (SP4 and then after that apply MR5 ... or SP5)

(Make sure to just choose BlackBerry Enterprise Server Smiley Happy)

I'm glad to help, and appreciate your thoughtfulness.  The folks over at BlackBerryForums.com are pretty helpful too.
