Office Communications Server 2007 (OCS 2007) has been out for over a year. The only thing holding me up from upgrading to it is BES support. When is it going to come? OCS 2007 offers many awesome new features that would save my company money. I already own the software because I have the license under Software Assurance.
I heard that SP5 might support OCS 2007. Is this true?

I think I am about to answer my own question but.... just because it is not supported do you know or not if it actually works?
I'm installing OCS2007 and have BES 4.1.5 and am going to give it a whirl...
I'm sure I will find out soon enough!!

RIM hasn't posted anything to the BlackBerry Product Lifecycle page. I'm hoping for sometime before the end of the Summer here, but since the rumors of the beta in May there hasn't been much chatter about it ... fingers crossed!

SP6 was released today but we still need to find the Blackberry Client for use with Office Communications Server 2007 version 2.1.10.
If anyone finds the new client software then we'll finally get IM's through our OCS 2007 servers!
