Yes ... but the error you've posted indicates a problem with the MAPI connection, not SQL connection.

All the SQL Services are started with Local System account so I hope changing the password of the BESADMIN account will not affect the Blackberry Server

Changing the password of the BESAdmin account will break the BES Server on next reboot as the BlackBerry services will be unable to start (assuming you have them properly configured to start as the BESAdmin domain account).

I unfortunately do not have the BESAdmin account password, talk about a rock and a hard place.

What options do I have?

Should I reset the passwords on all the services that start with the BESAdmin account in line with the changed password?

Yes.

 

The password entered under each service needs to match the password of what is set for BESAdmin.  After you make the change restart the server.  You could get away with restarting each service, but a server boot for good measure works.
