filtered incomming mails

The filtered incomming mails can not be seen in the subfolders on my BB 8820.

I use Lotus Notes on my desktop PC and that has been intagrated to my handheld. The incomming mails appear on my PC in the subfolders. On the handheld in the subfolders appear only those mails what I have responsed or forwarded to the incomming mail.

Is there any solution to display the filtered mails in the relevant subfolders?

Best regards:

Peter

Re: filtered incomming mails

You need to turn on Folder Redirection for the subfolders that receive new email messages

Re: filtered incomming mails

Hi,

On my smartphone in the mail settings menu the Folder redirection option can not be found at all.

How could I display it?

Re: filtered incoming mails

Thank you!!!  I have a Curve and have been playing with the filters unendingly trying to get a specific folder onto my BB.  Thanks to this post have learned how to do it and that existing messages in that folder won't transfer but it'll work great in-concert with my filters!!!

Question is do I tell my tech guys how it works now?  Smiley Tongue

Thanks again!!!

Re: filtered incomming mails

Quick question now that the folder re-direction is working.  Why are the messages showing up in both my Inbox and the Subfolder?

thanks!

Re: filtered incomming mails

Setting on the HH?  If it's within the Options, General Settings that's already set to Hide Filed Messages.

Any other suggestions?  Do I need to enable the filter on the BB as well perhaps?

thanks!!!
