losing messages from inbox

Dear Team I am on an enterprise server. My laptop Microsoft Outlook shows messages in the inbox going back many months but on my blackberry Torch they are deleted (at the moment all received emails prior to 1st July are deleted). The sent messages are still there. I have plenty of memory left ( over 281 MB) and emails are set to be kept "forever". BBerry support from my phone supplier here suggested I get the IT people in my department (at the Enterprise Server) to delete all messages and resend them. However a) this will be a bore as I will then have to mark the ones Ive read all over again and b) I dont see how that will stop the problem happening again. Any advice please? My Torch is 7 months old

Hello, I have similar problem on Bold9000 using BES Express 5: I can't see inbox messages older than 6 days, and also I lost all appointments in my calendar before july 9th. I think it happened after manual email archiving in outlook (but I archived emails older than 01 march 2011, I can't understand....)

The strange thing is that in outlook I still have all inbox emails and all appointments, but not in my device. Can anyone help?

when you change the keep emails for x days setting, it is only applied to the emails that are coming in and not the past emails.

 

if you want the older emails back, you will need to do an activation after apply this KB
