Re: BESX 5.0.2 - Serious Problem! Server Crashes +- 4 times a Day.

I've suffered for the last week with a similar problem and for me it seems to be a Domino Server issue that crashes BES rather than the other way round.

I have found that in the Domino crash logs (c:\lotus\domino\data\ibm_technical_support\*.log) any errors tagged 'FATAL' show that the Domino process nAdminP terminates the Domino server service.

Editing the Notes.ini file (back it up first) to remove nAdminP from starting when the server starts will fix the problem temporarily.

Obviously you need nAdminP for normal operation of the Domino server, this is where I am at the moment.

The cause seems to be a known issue with Domino where Calendar entries can cause a crash.

So far the only fix I have found is to upgrade the Domino server to the latest version with all service packs applied.
