we do have a little problem:
we got some playbooks for our company, paired with vairy kinds of blackberrys, managed by BESx 5.0.4 (latest update) for MS exchange 2010 on a server 2008 r2 enterprise... unfortunately the playbooks are worse constructed in order to (native) file exploring, so we got "files and folder", a 3rd party program. but caused by missing IT policy rules for 3rd party programs, there is no transfer possbile between playbook and smartphone.
early versions of BESx 5.0.2 (i guess) were able to handle it by "importing" these rules, but this option was removed.
how do i fix this problem?
thanks in advance

I have the same problem and have been unable to find a solution. I did download the rules and looked through the xml file in an attempt to try and create the rules, but so far, that hasn't worked either. I may not have created them correctly. I'm not real familiar with the xml code or how it relates to the options in policy creation.
I am very interested in this solution as well.

When I was looking at the xml file, it appears that in BES it creates a new policy set or group. There isn't a way to do that in BESX that I can find. Like you, I'm not a programmer.
