The Remote Device Management application allows Unite! Administrators to modify the device settings of other Unite users from their BlackBerry device. The features mirror those of the Device Management tab on the Unite Console. The following capabilities are now available with BlackBerry Unite! MR3.
Usage Reports: view the phone and browser usage logs for a user
Phone logs display:
- The type of call
- The caller's name (if available)
- The number called
- The time of the call
- The call duration
Browser log display:
- The site visited
- The time of the request
Note: Wireless IT Policies and/or software configurations applied to the BlackBerry device associated with a corporate BlackBerry Enterprise Server may prevent the use of some of the features of the Remote Device Management Application.
Provide a quick and intuitive method for sharing calendar items, contacts, and pictures with other Unite! users. After being added to Unite! users will see a ‘Share with BlackBerry Unite!’ menu item within the Calendar, Address Book and Media applications on the BlackBerry. Highlighting an item within one of these applications and selecting ‘Share with BlackBerry Unite!’ will share that item with all users on the same Unite! machine. The user will get a notification* when an item has been shared/ modified.

To Share Pictures:
Unite! user highlights a Picture item and opens the menu. Selecting the “Share” item in the menu, the Picture item will be shared with other Unite! users. All Unite! users except the originator receive a notification about the event.
