Bold Not updating contacts

Hi all,

 

Unsure of weather this is the right area to post this, but i will anyway. I've listed below the server and device details, hopfully this will make it easier to trouble shoot.

 

Server - Virtual Server Running on ESX 

OS -  Windows Server 2003 STD SP2

Version -Blackberry Professional software version 4.1.4.3

Blackberry Manager Version - 4.1.4.17 

Other Notes - This is a seperate server to the exchange one.  

 

Device - BlackBerry Bold (9000) 

Firmware Version - ? unable to check atm but not the latest 

 

Issue - When Contacts are Added/Created in Outlook 2007 (on the users machine) it is not updated to the blackberry. 

 

Backround info - Users Outlook Mail profile was deleted and recreated on his machine, due to a non related issue. This contacts issue has only happened as a result of the of the mail profiles recreation. 

 

Trouble shooting - As you can imagin this user is rather important and so does not have much time to offer for trouble shooting. As of now i have been unable to do anything on his Blackberry, i'm trying to avoid time wasting. Anyway So Far i've done all trouble shooting on my machine and with my Blackberry as they are almost the same, only differance being i have V 4.6.0.216 of the firmware (later then the firmware on his phone).

 

 

  • Created contact in outlook 2007 (on my PC) With in 5 mins the contact had updated to my Blackberry
  • Deleted and Recreated my mail Profile (to recreate the issue the user is experiancing)
  • Created another test contact and once agan with in 5 mins the contact was updated to my Blackberry

 

 

Guy could i get you to help throw out some ideas as to where to look, and if you have experianced the same or a similar problem to send through what you did you resolve the issue

PS -also just realize i can check the firmware version, with in BPS, you have to excuse my Lack of knowledge as i am a BPS Novice.
