Browser Company Proxy

Quick question, we are unable to disable the BB browser because we are using BES Express instead of the full version. The next best thing is for us to implement our company proxy under MDS Connection Service but before I do this I have a question.

Will this only affect the BB browser? We dont want it interferring with email retrieval or any OTA deployments we do. Just want to make sure it doesn't have any adverse side-effects, from reading I can see none but just want to double check.

Re: Browser Company Proxy

you should be able to turn off the MDS CS service and no one can browse via BES

or make a firewall rule to prevent internet access.
