When I run the Blackberry Desktop Software, I can configure advanced filtering for each of the conduits (Contacts, Tasks, Calendar, Notes) to control what is synchronized with Outlook / Exchange. I use this to filter private entries, filter by Category, etc. I can also do field mapping, and control the direction of synchronization. Once the Device is on BES Express, these options are greyed out in the Desktop Manager.
In the BES admin console, I am able to find the options to control sync direction, and to do field mapping, but I am not able to find any options to do filtering. Is this function available in BES Express 5.0? Or am I only able to do the advanced filtering when using the Desktop Manager? Seems odd that the desktop functionality would not be available in the server product.
