Installing BES Express 5.04 on a Domain Controller

We are moving from BES 4.1.7 to BES Express 5.0.4. The current BES is installed on a DC, is it possible to install BES Express on a DC?

Re: Installing BES Express 5.04 on a Domain Controller

OK, next question.

Because I am installing BES Express on a DC the User that I am logging on as will need to be a Domain Admin. But in one of the installation documents for 5.0.2 (I think its that version) says the user that you are using to install the BES should not be a domain admin. Does this still apply for 5.0.4?

Re: Installing BES Express 5.04 on a Domain Controller

I would install BES express SP4 and read the instructions well about creating the service account

same applies to a SBS server install which is supported

there are even videos to assist in the install too
