Red X Error... Not a Send-as problem

Hello Guys, my first post here, hoping to support the community in the future.

Well, I had a full fledged working BES Express server 5.0.2 Bundle 14 till last week. Had major problems, reinstalled it then did a full restore of the database.

Now the problem is:

All users can receive mail but cannot send. The error on the event log is as follows:

----

{user(at)domain} MAPIMailbox:Smiley Frustratedend(ppMAPIMessage) - SubmitMessage (0x80004005) failed

followed by

{user(at)domain} Send() failed: ERR_SUBMIT_MAIL, RefId=594168000, Tag=1410

----

Checked permissions...

I've actually tought that it was a send-as problem; then installed outlook into a computer, logged as "besadmin", created a profile for one of the users with the problem, then sent an email... and the email was sent ok.

Fixed SRP errors on the event log... used SRP verification tool, worked ok...

Let's get more verbose:

Exchange version: 2010

BES Express version: 5.0.2 Bundle 14

CDO version in BES Express server: 6.5.8211.0

Happens with all users

Sympthom: red cross while sending mail from the device

Any help is welcome.

Thanks in advance!

Jon.

Re: Red X Error... Not a Send-as problem

80004005 is a generic code.

Have you tried to recreate the MAPI profile?

Already tried, but tried again... no luck Smiley Sad

The strange part was... it used to work before the reinstall. No user modification / etc. It was installed on the same domain as before. Same server name, etc.
