If you reload the O/S on the BlackBerry you will need to reactivate the device against BlackBerry Unite! the same way that you would need to re-activate against a BES (although Desktop Manager starts this process automatically for you).
In order to do this you can access the Smartphone First-Aid tab for the user you wish to reactivate.
