[SOLVED] JDBC Driver (connect to SQL Server 2005)

[ Edited ]

Hi',

I'm starting an installation of Blackberry Professional Software 4.1.4 on a fresh install of a Windows 2003 Server (SP2).

I follow the installation assistant, i'm now at the database connection.

I use a SQL 2005 server (on my local network). Once i check "next", here is the log :

[30000] (02/17 17:14:35.069):{0xB88} [PIPTOOL]: There are 7015MB space available on the disk of the data directory locates.

[25000] (02/17 17:14:35.382):{0xB88}

I think there is a problem with jdbc connector. I get the archive on Microsoft website, extract the .jar in the "classpath" directory but i'm not sure this thing work.

When i try in command line to load the .jar, here what i get :

>java -jar "C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\lib\sqljdbc.jar"
Invalid or corrupt jarfile C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\lib\sqljdbc.jar

I spent a day on it, any help would be appreciated.

Did you run the createdb.exe from the install files first on the SQL server?

Re: JDBC Driver (connect to SQL Server 2005)

Thx for your answer.

The solution is : select the "sa" account, select "next" (initialize databases), select "back", choose "Windows authentication" and then "next".

I don't know why for me it doesn't work with my bes account, maybe a mistake on permissions (but i check and recheck every permissions ...).
