APNs Certificate problem - after upgrade to 10.1

Hi. Just want to ask for some help..

We have successfully created an APN certificate on BES 10, however, after updating to 10.1, I'm getting a Network Connection error.

Any ports need to open? our 10.1 is inside our LAN (previous UDs is in DMZ)

Also, do we need to install a router for BES 10.1?

Thanks in advance!

Re: APNs Certificate problem - after upgrade to 10.1

1a) You need to have 3101 open to connect to BlackBerry.

1b) You need to have 2195 open to connect to Apple.

2) You don't need a router.

Re: APNs Certificate problem - after upgrade to 10.1

With 10.1 you shouldn't need 2195 open directly to the internet.  It should route the APNs traffic through 3101, at least according to the documentation.  I haven't disabled 2195 on my enviroment yet, so I can't say for certain.

Re: APNs Certificate problem - after upgrade to 10.1

opening port 443 to 68.171.232.36 (rdns.blackberry.net) solved this issue.

Will now try to get the certificates.

Thanks to All!

All addresses below are already accessible via the BES10 server using specified ports.

Re: APNs Certificate problem - after upgrade to 10.1

opening TCP 3101 for <region>.bbsecure.com worked for me.

Do make sure you have imported the cert into the proper local computer store and added read rights.
