Address book - Location - Lotus Domino environment - server field is becoming empty

[ Edited ]

Hello,

We upgraded our 3 Blackberry servers from 4 on 5.0.3.13. They run in Lotus Domino environment.

After the upgrade we are experiencing that many times the server lost some users’ address book setting. The “Address book -> Location – server” field is becoming empty or is filled with wrong server name. It is happening randomly. We’ve built a test environment but we’ve could not reproduce the described problem. It exists only in the living environment.

Does somebody have any idea why this is happening and what is the solution?

The living environment is built on:

  • Blackberry servers 5.0.3.13
  • Lotus Domino 8.5.3FP1
  • Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard Service Pack 1

Thanks in advance,

Istvan

Usually you have to do some maint. try this and see if it helps.

Run Fixup, Updall, and Compact maintenance tasks for IBM Lotus Domino database

IBM has not been contacted yet. But it is a good idea.

We have 2 Domino 6.5 in our environment.

Yes, you're right. perhaps it may the problem. We'll check it.

Blackberry Enterprise Server compatibility chart
http://us.blackberry.com/support/software/server_compatibility.jsp#tab_tab_compatibility

shows Limited Support for 6.5, not sure which users are affected but if they are on 6.5 it might be an issue
