BB 10.2 - EMM Regulated Mode Not Working

Not sure if I should post here or in the General Support forums?

I have a Z10 on BES 10.1.1 in EMM Regulated Mode (Work Space Only) on Telus. I just did the update to BB 10.2 on my phone and now the phone is in Balance Mode (personal and workspace) and it poped up with a notification that the "IT Administrator requires your phone to be encrypted, encryption will start in 5 mins." - I don't have any IT Policies setup that require this?

 

I guess BlackBerry forgot about us Work Space only people. Thank-god I disabled the update for our users.

 

Has anyone else run into this?

Interesting, my BES reports that my phone has version 10.2.0.1791 and shows ERROR under IT Policy Status?

I never had the leaked OS on my phone, will try a couple of reboots to see if I can get BES to recognize the 10.2.0.424.

 

I'm just in the process of decyrpting my files..................

Thanks, this is a double post for me, wasn't sure what area would get more attention. I wouldn't really call wiping the device and reactiving a 'fix'.

Too bad, I was really excited to release 10.2 to my users but I guess we will have to wait. Doesn't inpsire much confidence since it doesn't seem they tested this scenario.

HOLD THE BOAT!!! I went through, wiped my device and reactivated it in Work Space Only mode on BES 10.1.1.2 and it is still showing my version as being 10.2.0.1791?

 

Is BB 10.2 compatible with BES 10.1.1.2? 

 

Can anyone from Blackberry comment on this?

I am also experiencing the same issues. I have BDS 10.1.3 and multiple Work Space only Z/Q10 devices that upgraded to 10.2 last week. Upon reboot, BB Balance has reappeared?

 

What are others seeing on this?
