We have notice a strange behavior, when Administrator (Senior Helpdesk Administrator Role) creating a new user and during the creation process select mail profile, it drops an error "You are not authorized to perform the action for this user."
If he leaves mail profile field blank, user is being created without any errors and the same Administrator can assign mail profile.

WE have exactly the same. Our BB Partners tried in their environment and have the same issue.
It has been raised to BlackBerry as a possible bug in BES 10.1.1 (the version we are using).
If i hear anything I will update the thread

We are still on 10.1, planning to update to 10.1.1.
Actually there is additional thing we use on the Roles, we limit permission subjects of groups to designated group names instead of default "All groups"
This might be causing the issue.

So, i did a bit more testing. If i set myself as Senior Helpdesk I can add the user with the profile directly. Our delegation permission is slightly different - our admins have roles based on groups. So, identical to Snr Helpdesk but where 'All Groups' is selected we have a specific group selected, and get the error on user creation if the mail profile is selected.
