Re: BES 10 with Lotus Domino 8.5.3 and BES 5.03

This is the post from Dhungate.

  1. In MS Active Directory ensure that the email address field is populated.
  2. In BDS set up the following EMail profile:
    • Type: Activesync
    • Server name: yyy.zzz.com/servlet/traveler
    • Use SSL: Yes
    • Push Enabled: Yes
    • Days to synchronize: Whatever you wish
    • Interval: 15 minutes
    • Email sync: Yes
    • Calendar sync: Yes
    • Contact sync: Yes
    • Memo sync: Yes
    • Task sync: Yes
  3. In the user setup use the following account settings:
    • Override MS Active Sync: Yes
    • Account Name: iNotes Username
    • Email Address: Email Address
    • Domain: Blank
    • Username: iNotes Username
  4. Generate an activation email
  5. On the Blackberry 10 device go to Settings
  6. Accounts
  7. Add Account
  8. Email, Calendar and Contacts
  9. Press the Advanced button instead of entering an email address
  10. Select Work Account
  11. Enter iNotes Username
  12. Enter Activation Password
  13. Enter SRP Address
  14. If your Traveler environment requires approval you'll now need to approve the device there.
  15. The Blackberry will connect via the Blackberry Infrastructure, routing through the Blackberry Dispatcher Service on the BDS server, and then connecting to Traveler.

Re: BES 10 with Lotus Domino 8.5.3 and BES 5.03

It turns out Step 1 was the least obvious step to do. Entering the email address in Active Directory Users and Computers. Also Memos and Tasks do not currently sync. Traveler 9 will fix this, and it should be out later this month.

Re: BES 10 with Lotus Domino 8.5.3 and BES 5.03

The test with Domino/ Traveler 8.5.3 didn't work on my site. I have activades the Z10 succesfully and the Traveller is connected to. The BES 10. But I don't get some e-mail syncronisation to my Blackberry.

So I wonder how other pepole have connected Traveller 8.5 to a BES 10...

2. Is the BB User detaiils, has the Domino internet username?

3. Is the device getting listed under Domino Server -> Messaging -> Lotus Traveler Devices?

Re: BES 10 with Lotus Domino 8.5.3 and BES 5.03

Hello,

Well the point

1. I have done now, check !

2. In the BlackBerry Administration Service, E-mail Profiles -  the email account name for the user (?), check!

3. In the BlackBerry Administration Service, User information - Device model (?), check !

Ok , now my Z10 is activated some how, but it asks always for:

"Your login information for account myself01 - myself@company.com) has changed or is incorrect. Updated your logininformation and try again."

I have set a new password (internet password) in Lotus Notes for Traveler and in the BlakcBerry Administration service as well (both the same Password and the same as in AD)

So I have no other password I can try...

Daniel

[ Edited ]

sorry for the last post.

I took the AD-username as Lotus-internet-name and as BB10-Username -  and...

IT WORKS!

NICE!

Thanks to all for your help

Daniel
