Re: BES 10 with Lotus Domino 8.5.3 and BES 5.03

Thanks for everyone's input in this thread I managed to get a z10 device connected to a new BES 10 server via traveler 8.5.3 with SSL turned off. Daniel I had the same issue as you so thanks for your post that saved so much hassle re username. I would advise to remove any traces of a bb10 device connected via JUST lotus traveler before connecting via bes that maybe would cause a problem.

Re: BES 10 with Lotus Domino 8.5.3 and BES 5.03

Dear Team,

Need your help in installing BDS for Lotus Domino (Traveler) servers ,

After refereing below post i can understand that to configure BDS you need to have an AD. But our work get stop here because:-

1. We are not using MS Exchange messaging system for which each user has a
AD account.

2. We are having IBM Lotus Domino messaging environment in which all users
exists in Domino Directory and they donot have a AD account.

3. Kindly let us know the prerequisite for using BES10 with IBM Lotus Notes
Traveler server.

4. Pls note that our BES10 server is configured in AD but all email users
do not have AD account on the same AD as they are distributed in different
AD forest. Also IBM lotus domino server is not integrated with AD.

Re: BES 10 with Lotus Domino 8.5.3 and BES 5.03

I suggest to you to install Traveler 9 on the Domino 8.5.3 host.
Maybe the BDS 10.1 will releases on this friday.

You (an me also) have to test this constellation, but I guess this will be a solution for you.
