BES 5.0.1: 2 User's stopped working

Hello Forum,

 

I'm having an issue where 2 out of my 50 users have stopped working.

 

I'm still able to push policies and the service book, however the hand helds are receiving no e-mails. I'm stumped, as these user's where not queued to be deleted.

 

Their statuses show this:

Email

 

Email address:

XXXX@XXXX

State:

Running

Messaging server:

XXXXXXXXX

Queued removal of BlackBerry services:

No

The Logs are your best source of information.

 

There can be a multitude of causes from BlackBerry itself to external causes to the Users.

 

Please help us by providing Log information for the users.

 

Please try the following to ascertain if it is an older BES Product Issue:

 

On the device goto Folder Redirection via Messages

Disable the Inbox

Save

Allow for a minute

Select the Inbox

Save

I still this up to the latest releases of BES and Devices across different Mail Platforms.

 

Just also ensure this is not standard folder redirection for sub-folders.

With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot.

The problem was resolved by restarting the router and dispatcher services.

There was a problem with one of he mail box clusters earlier in the day. That forced a reboot of that server.
