I run 3 separate BES policies to fill the needs of our various users, and most users have Curve 8330's, our BES system is currently at 5.0.1.
All 3 policies are set to allow BB Messenger (no other settings), and everything has been working fine.
Last week, one user starting receiving notifications for undeliverable BB Messenger usage reports.
After reviewing the policies, I found that one (applied to only 4 users) had an email address entered in the Messenger Audit Email Address field, along with values of 24 in both the audit report interval and the max report interval.
This was not a setting that I entered.
Could this setting be manipulated by a user, for example attempting to set up an optional setting from their device?
Any other ideas or bugs that anyone is aware of related to this?
Interesting too, there were 4 users under that policy, and only one user reportedly receiving the undeliverable report messages.
I checked the windows security and app logs, as well as ran a search on all logs under BlackBerry Enterprise Server\Logs for the email address that was entered and came up with nothing.
Is there another place to check to see a date\time\user info on policy changes?

Found the culprit - so the change is no longer the issue.
Can anyone recommend an efficient real-time monitor \ alerting configuration for BES policy changes?

Im trying to block IM (blackberry messenger PIN messagez) on BES 184.108.40.206 but do not see any option under IT Policy > Device only.
Did you manage to enable this?

To prevent PIN messages from being sent, complete the following steps:
Open BlackBerry Manager.
Select BlackBerry Domain.
Click Edit Properties.
Select IT Policy.
Double-click IT Policies.
Select the appropriate IT Policy and click Properties.
Select Device-Only Items.
Set Allow Peer-to-Peer Messages to False
But do NOT see the "Allow Peer-to-Peer Messages" within the list.
