We are planning to migrate from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010 server. But for the time being is it normal to update the MAPI CDO 1.2.1 on the BES 5.0.3 under the Exchange 2003 enviroment? Will the update have any effect on the BES 5.0.3 while still running under the Exchange 2003 enviroment?
My question is related to the following url for KB22601, Task 2.

MAPI CDO 1.2.1 is compatible with all versions of Microsoft Exchange from Exchange 2003 SP2 and up. You can and should upgrade MAPI on the BlackBerry Enterprise Server before upgrading to Microsoft Exchange 2010.

Thank you have been very helpful, I would like to ask you about two more thing:
- When moving the BesAdmin mailbox account from the Exchange 2003 SP2 to Exchange 2010 SP1 without moving other blackberry users mailbox accounts will that have any effect on BES Blackberry users?
-After moving the BesAdmin mailbox account to the new Exchange 2010 SP1 do I need to edit the Mapi Profile to point to the new Exchange 2010 SP1 server name?
