BES 5.0 - Excessive Log Files

Hi,

Currently running BES 5.0 and logs files are taking up way too much space. I have looked, but cannot find a definivative answer to how I can set the retention period to 30 days, as opposed to indefinite.

My BES server does not appear to be running the Blackberry Monitoring Service, nor is this running an a stand alone server elsewhere.

Please help!

Thanks,

Re: BES 5.0 - Excessive Log Files

Actually, I shoul dhave also added. As I will be updating all of the logs to retain only 30 days, I will be restarting, basically all of the services.

What is the preferred services startup order, and do you have any idea what kind of interuption will be experienced by the end user, i.e. should connectivity pick up pretty quickly?

Thanks,

Re: BES 5.0 - Excessive Log Files

just reboot the server, its so much easier.

I like to retain logs for a long time and zip them up instead of delete
