BES10.0 CALs to 10.1 CALs, will old ones still work?

I am about to submit a trade up for our BES10 CALs to BES10.1, however, am worried that if I do the CAL trade up before I actually install 10.1, does my 10.0 environment stop working? Or am I just sent a completely different CAL key that I input whenever I do upgrade to 10.1, and the 10.0 continues to work until I'm ready to upgrade?

Re: BES10.0 CALs to 10.1 CALs, will old ones still work?

Hello squishmike,

Thank you for your question regarding CALs and BES 10.1.

The old BES 10 CALs will still function once they are traded up to BES 10.1 as they are a completely different CAL.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
