Hello all, I am wondering two things:
Should a PC have both BlckBerry Link and also BlackBerry Desktop Manager 6.0 installed? I believe this was because they used to have an old BB device, then we switched to BES10 so now she has BB Link on there as well. Can I remove BB DM 6.0, or will that potentially lose files or backups they have?
My second question is, is the Web Desktop Manager for BES10 meant to be used instead of BB Link or are they two seperate things?

should no longer need the older DM software now that on BB10
LINK and WebDesktop manager are a bit different and dont do everything the same
Web Desktop is meant as a service portal for work side
Link is more for personal backups, Sync etc
BESAdmin's, please make a signature with your BES environment info.
BES 12 and BES 5.0.4 with Exchange 2010 and SQL 2012 Hyper V

Thanks Mr. Rope.
I've always been confused about sync'ing in these desktop-level programs vs. sync via BES. I've recently learned that BB Link has Document Sync which BES doesn't support, but otherwise is there any reason one should sync using their software at the desktop when they're on BES? Besides document sync, is there something Link dos for syncdifferent than wirelessly to the BES?
