I try to setup BES 10.1, but I am unable to add the trail license. The reason for that seems to be, that the "BlackBerry Licensing Service" is unable to start. If I just start the local service I got the following message in the event log "BlackBerry Licensing Service service terminated unexpectedly."
If I execute the service manualy I got a crash message and find the following in the event log:
Fault bucket 3630014385, type 1
Event Name: APPCRASH
Response: Not available
Cab Id: 0
P1: launcher.exe_Research Server Application Launcher
These files may be available here:
Rechecking for solution: 0
Report Id: 750b3f7d-d35a-11e2-86a8-52540000285a
Report Status: 0
I have no idea why that happens, but I hope you have one. Or even an idea to get a more detailed error message.
On the server is only BES 10.1. It is a fresh installation of 10.1, I had no 10.0 installed before.
It is no antivirus software installed. I already reinstalled BES 10.1, but nothing changed.

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
Thank you for your question regarding BlackBerry Licensing Service service terminated unexpectedly
There are a few things I would like to check.
1. Did you have a look at the FNE logs? They are located at the below location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10\Logs\FNE
2. Can you confirm if there is a Serial Number in the BIOS? This can be determined by running the below command in the Windows Powershell on the BES 10.1 server.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

See soulution here. I bet your using a VM with no BIOS serial number.
