Blackberry Enterprise Server and Powershell

Hello everyone!

Maybe a little bit here, but:

Does anybody know, if there will be an upcoming SP or BES version, which will be manage-able through Powershell?

Thanks!

Cheers,

Alex Smiley Happy

Re: Blackberry Enterprise Server and Powershell

so you would like to use some scripts for BES?

with the BRK you can do interesting things with BES

Re: Blackberry Enterprise Server and Powershell

Hi knotty,
Well, yes and no...
I was asking out of pure interest, if there might be a module sometime...? Will it? Smiley Happy

I already came across the BRK, but I'm not really into it.. :$

And that page loads very slow...

Re: Blackberry Enterprise Server and Powershell

btw, is there a way to write this information into a variable?
besuseradminclient -ad_auth -username user01 -domain blackberry -password password

I don't like to always type that or to have my or besadmin's pw written in clear text..
Thanks!

Cheers,
Alex

Re: Blackberry Enterprise Server and Powershell

forgot to mention that -sso_auth or no parameter doesn't work out like described in the documentation:
use instead of the user name and password parameters if you want the tool to log in to the BlackBerry Administration Service using your Windows® authentication credentials. If you do not specify authentication credentials when you type a command, by default, the tool tries to log in to the BlackBerry Administration Service using your Windows authentication credentials even if you do not specify the -sso_auth parameter.

Re: Blackberry Enterprise Server and Powershell

I've started working with the BlackBerry Enterprise Server Web Services on my own (to handle initial provisioning).  I give you the framework, but you still need to do some prep work yourself.
