Can logon to Service Administrator



I am having a lot of trouble configuring BlackBerry ENT 5.0. After I configure the whole system and then reboot I can no longer access any of the icons related to BlackBerry under program manager, when I click on one the web page launches and then sits there as it compalins it cant connect, the server is running on windows 2008.

I had the same issue.  After many hours on the phone with RIM I figured out it had to do with the port settings.  Even though I was running the server in a VMWare instance in Bridge mode with a static IP address the virtual IP had to be configured correctly to listen on the right port for (SQL). 


 Once I correct those settings in SQL everything worked.


Go to SQL network configurations and make sure all the ports match what's in the BB Server Configuration (Database Connectivity).
