Change of Network - Orange to vodafone

Hi Guys

Please advise me on this one

We have a bes server here and we are moving 10 of our users from Orange to Vodafone. they will all have their old number ported to the vodafone. so when they will receive their new sim cards it will be exactly the same (with blackberry service bolt on) same number as well

Do you think we need to change anything on the BES or will this make anything to stop working?

Please advise

Kind Regards

Faz

Re: Change of Network - Orange to vodafone

is the phone unlocked? if it is not then the SIM will not work.

once unlocked and you replace the SIM with proper datapaln, the phone will just work as it has before.

another issue might be BlackBerry ID wont work

Unable to log to App World with BlackBerry ID when the SIM card is removed from the BlackBerry smart...

Re: Change of Network - Orange to vodafone

Hi

Thanks for the quick reply

The phones are unlocked. so hopefully all should be fine. Regarding the blackberry ID. is it just that users may log off from blackberry ID? and they just enter their email address and password to relog in ? or is there another issue where they will have to recreate their blackberry ID

Please Advise

Kind Regards

They just need to know their password. Or reset it if needed
