Deploying a singed app via BES - Is the .csi file required?

Hi There.

I'm new to the forum and as with most newbies, I come with a question.

We have a 3rd party software developer who has produced an App which uses restricted APIs.  They have told me that the app is signed to allow these APIs to be used.   They have supplied a .zip file which among other things, contains the .alx and .cod files.

Our support guys are now attempting to deploy the app wirelessly via BES but are asking for the .csi file - Telling me that they cannot deploy the app without it - They are getting an error on the BES "Request could not be completed".

However the developer is telling me that their .csi files are private to them and they do not need to release the files.  I'm assuming they are correct as I believe the .csi file is basically their private key.

Does any one know who is right in this situation and if there is anything specific that needs to be done to deploy a signed app wirelessly via BES.

Thanks in advance
