Enroll profile sending error. Please, contact your administrator - IOS Cert Install

Hi All,

 

The frustration is mounting and I don't know if I can take it any more!!!!

 

I am getting this error after trying to retrieve a cert for my IOS Device

 

"FATAL,"2013-03-30 19:52:21,812",10,0,"8c6c37f3-a4ef-4f88-93d5-a9b3d0f2b58d","Enroll profile sending error. Please, contact your administrator.",
,Type: System.Security.Cryptography.CryptographicException
,Message: A certificate chain could not be built to a trusted root authority."

 

 

All my certs look good, with one exception but I think it's normal from what I read>

 

My APN Certificate tests good in my UDS console but its certificat path in the MMC states: "The issuer of this certificate could not be found.:

Hello Mike,

 

The Root certificate of the CA that signed the SSL cert is likely missing from the Trusted Root Certificate Authority.

Make sure that the Root CA certificate is imported into to the Trusted Root Certification Authorities under the Certificate Snap In.

 

To verify which Root CA is needed, open up the SSL cert and either look that the Issuer under details tab or click on the Certificate path tab and look and see which CA is showing at the top level.
