Error with MDS after applying 10.1.2 update

We ran the latest release update on our BES 10 server to bring it up to 10.1.2 and now we get this error:

Ever since we've applied the update we get this issue:

Log Name:      Application

Source:        BlackBerry MDS Connection Service

Date:          29/08/2013 12:55:18

Event ID:      15000

DEVBESXPRESS10B.DevResource.local is our BES 10 server

devexchangea.devresource.local Is our Exchange server

So we can no longer send emails from any playbook or other BB devices. The BES throws the above error. This error showed up after the update, prior to that everything has been working fine.

Any ideas? Ports 9080 9443 are all open.

Re: Error with MDS after applying 10.1.2 update

Hello gosalh,

Thank you for your question regarding error starting the MDS Service.

Error 15000 is related to the service not being able to start due to a port conflict.

I noticed you mentioned that ports, 9080, 9443 are open but can you confirm they are not in use when the service is stopped?

Let me know if you have any other questions.
