I had the exact same issue. I looked at the log file for the JRE install and it looks like the Mobile Fusion setup is trying to run the java install with two switches (jre-6u22-windows-i586-2.exe /s /L). One of them is to make the install silent, the other tells the installer where to put the logs. For whatever reason it's failing on the Logs switch, maybe it's something to do with the "Program Files(x86)" directory on 64-bit operating systems.

 

Anyways, here's how I fixed it:

 

I changed both of the install directory locations for Mobile Fusion to "C:\BMFS\". The install then completed without a hitch. Hope this helps!

I Just registered to say THANK YOU.  That fixed it for me.  Darn those 64 bit OSes!

My server was an exchange server as well, anything unique about yours??

Nothing unique about it really, just the fact that it was on a 64-bit OS.
