Internet Browsing on a blackberry using MDS

Hi All,

Just using the trial version of BES 5.0 and have moved a few users over to get a feel for it. Everything is running smoothly apart from the users don't have the ability to browse the internet as they previously could using BES 4.0, they just get a message alogn the lines of unknown host www.google.co.uk:80

I have configured the proxy mappings as the instructions suggest using the regular default expression in the URL and entering our proxy information as follows and we dont have any authentication on the proxy. We run the BES server on our private network and use the blackberry router component on our DMZ.

Am I missing something???

Thanks in advance

Re: Internet Browsing on a blackberry using MDS

I'm also having trouble setting up the proxy settings for surfing with the handheld blackberry browser.

I just can't find the options for that.

Would be great if you could help me out here!
