Got an incident where after upgraded BES from 4.1.x to 5.0.1, all BlackBerry devices works fine except for one BBConnect SONYEP1i device (application code: 4.82). Tried resending service book and re-enabled it, and it receives messages for a while until it eventually stopped working again.
Thought of updating the software via Sony website:
However, there has been no updates for a while now.
Would like to know if BBConnect devices are still supported for BES 5.0.1. Any advise is appreciated.

There could have been a encryption level mismatch during your upgrade and an Enterprise Activation usually solves it.
BESAdmin's, please make a signature with your BES environment info.
BES 12 and BES 5.0.4 with Exchange 2010 and SQL 2012 Hyper V

Thanks for reply. Yeah the user tried re-enabled the device again and it worked for a while. Then it suddenly stopped working again...

A follow-up. Usually I always self-service i.e. try to research and search at BTSC for KB articles and product documentation. But this time round, really hit walls. RIM has completely wiped out all reading resources for BBConnect, apart from the Product Marketing page. If they are not going to support, they should not invent the BBConnect software in the first place. Now I'm not able to move forward with the issue. Hopefully someone will be able to comment...
