Issue with continually stop of the administration service.

[ Edited ]

Yesterday i have installed SP1 (for 2008 r2) on my Blackberry express Server. And after this update the blackberry administration services continually crash.

My Environment:

Domain controller with Blackberry ( installed: 2008 R2 SP1

Exchange server with Exchange 2010 SP1 and 2008 R2 SP1

I have already uninstalled the following updates:

  • Hotfix for MS10-021 related to Microsoft KB979683
  • Hotfix for MS10-047 related to Microsoft KB981852
  • Hotfix for MS11-011 related to Microsoft KB2393802

And also the another updates that microsoft have released in the month February. Nothing seems to help.

Have anyone an idea how to fix this problem?

Hi Remco,

We have installed Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 and have the issue also.

After investigating the service pack release on Technet, we discovered SP1 includes MS11-011 (KB239802). This is likely the reason why you are experiencing the same issues listed in http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/dynamickc.do?externalId=KB23927&sliceID=1&command=show&forward=nonthr...

Hopefully Blackberry will pull their finger out and release a fix shortly. Suggesting that an enterprise doesnt install a critical update to prevent an exploit in the windows kernel is irresponsible.
