Lost connection between BB10 devices and BES 10

Yesterday I had a strange problem with 5 users of 125 of my BES 10 server.

  • BES version : 10.2.0.33
  • Device concerned : Z10 & Q10
  • BB os version : one different on each device

The problem is that the device losing the connection with the BES server and off course the mail.

 

  • I can't send new IT Policy to the device.
  • The last contact date/time is during the night (Some is no switched off during the night)
  • Users in Belgium & Swiss
  • In the log, I don't see something special. Just in the EMWS that the last connection date/time is the same as the last contact date/time.

I there a know problem ? 
The "fix" is to remove the connection from the device and add it again.

Hi..

 

I think there is a mobile network issues due to that the devices are constantly loosing connection to the BES10 server.. it seems to be not stable with the devices. .

Thanks for the reply.

Some precision, when I say remove the connection, is the account on the device. Not the network sorry. And add it again with a new activation code.

 

The device don't restore the connection if we move to wireless network or have a very good mobile networks connection.

Thanks for the reply.

About the activesync, it's working fine, we have already tested with tools and always two other client with the credentials.

So it's not directly an Activesync problem. Or only the connection from the BES but if that's a activesync problem, I can normaly send the IT Policy to the device ? Because here it's doesn't work also when the problem occur.

maybe remove workspace and add it back in then

 

can device surf the web when it does happen?
