Moving BES 5.0 services after initial install

If you were to setup a BES 5.0 with all the services running on one server (with exception of the BES DB), could you at a later time migration those services to separate servers?

Re: Moving BES 5.0 services after initial install

It basically depends on how you plan to have things configured. Certain BlackBerry services (such as the BlackBerry Router, Attachment service, Collaboration service, Administration service or MDS Connection service) can be hosted remotely to the BlackBerry Enterprise Server. For the most part, everything would be installed on a single box, but these services could be moved if needed.

You could also move the whole server  to another machine if needed by using a migration kit or the process known as the knife-edge cutover.

The only stupid question is the one you don't ask before you reboot the BES.
