No Policies enabled, yet users are receiving msg abt policies...

currently we have no policies set in place...


and a number of users complain that apps they use to access etc, they can no longer use.


ex: google maps, visual voice mail....


it seems to users permissions for these apps default to deny or whatever...

the exact msg is "

required permission for Visual Voice Mail cannot be set probably due to IT policy restriction, Phone needs allow, Internet needs Allow, Recording needs prompt or Allow, Please consult with your system admin.”


is this normal w/ BES 5.0.2 or rather has anyone else experience this?


i had a user that unable to change the permissions on said app(sprint NAV)--very weird.



our environ: BES 5.0.2 bundle 36 on Win 2003 Srvr
