Outlook Contacts not synching with BlackBerry Devices

Hello,

 

We can't seem to find a solution regarding a couple of users where after activation, Outlook contacts won't synch with their BlackBerry devices.  We recently migrated some users from legacy support to Cloud services.  The devices have been deprovisioned from legacy support, wiped, and then activated on the new platform, but since then, the Outlook contacts do not synch into the devices.  We have so far done the following steps:

 

1.  De-provisioned, then re-provisioned.

2.  Resent Service Books

 

None of these seemed to resolve the issue about the contacts synching at all.

 

Any help?

What version BES and Mail server version?

 

What is De-Provisioned?

On the devices, open the Address Book, hit the Menu, go to Options.

 

How many Contact Lists are present?

 

If everything is working properly, there should only be one with the user's email address.

Click on it, and make sure that Wireless Synchronization is enabled.

 

If it is, go to the previous screen where you see the Contact Lists, and type in "rset" with no quotes.

You should see a prompt indicating that the Contact List will be wiped and reloaded.

Contact should start flowing down within 5-10 minutes.

Our BES is 5.0.3 and Exchange Server is 2010.

 

De-provisioning means removing the user from the environment.

Start with this.

 

In outlook Make a new folder for contacts called backup

move all contacts to the folder and wait for all to be removed from device

then pull battery on device and put back in

After device boots move contacts from backup to the contacts folder and wait for them all to appear

Make a new contact in outlook and see if it gets to the device.
