Outlook changes not synching to BB on BES 5.0.1

I installed a new BES 5.0.1 server and have moved a few users over to it from 4 using Transporter.  Everything appeared to be great and the users immediately started receiving messages from the BES 5.0.1.  What we've now noticed though is that changes made within Outlook are not synching to the BBs.  For example, if a message is moved or deleted from the Inbox, that change is not appearing on the BB.  Changes made on the BB are appearing in Outlook.

I've looked all through Event logs on the BES, Exchange, etc as well as through the BES logs and I can't find any problems whatsoever.  Right now, I'm not necessarily looking for an answer but just a place to look to continue troubleshooting as I'm not sure where else to go.

Thank you!!

Re: Outlook changes not synching to BB on BES 5.0.1

This will explain a lot about reconcile and hard deletes
KB04863 - Permanent deletion of email messages in Microsoft Outlook does not reconcile to the BlackB...

link in above KB in case you missed it
KB04853 - How to enable hard deletes on the BlackBerry Enterprise Server

I have also changed the messages state size to 1000 and it cured 99% of our issues.
The performance hit and RAM increase is almost nil on the BES box. Not positive where in BES 5.0 you can change this but it is there somewhere IIRC

On Device also double check:

Make sure that Wireless Reconcile is set to On. Sometimes toggling that to off, saving it, then turning it back on.
Messages Options - Email reconciliation -
Delete on Mailbox and handheld,
wireless reconcile = Yes
On conflicts = Mailbox wins.

Thank you!!  That was it!  I don't understand why that wouldn't be on by default.

There is no one single configuration that work for everyone.

Lucky there is a forum to help out.

Glad to have helped out.
