I am trying to activate a Playbook against the BES10 server.
The user already has a Blackberry 10 handset activate successfully against the BES10 server.
I get the error "Unable to contact server, please check connectivity or server address"
I have followed those instructions:
But found no errors.

Apparently, the server name to use under "Work mail" is not the machine name (i.e. mail.domain.com) but something called "SRP ID"
To find the "SRP ID" of the BDS open the *cached.property file under:
C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Enterprise Server\MDS\Servers\<server_name>\config
Search for SRP.UID. The "SRP IP" has the format S85970xxx
Amazing that this is called "server name"....
This allowed me to activate the Playbook against the BDS on the corporate wifi

BlackBerry NOC has no idea what your FQDN means as BES connects to the NOC via port 3101 with out your domain info.
BESAdmin's, please make a signature with your BES environment info.
BES 12 and BES 5.0.4 with Exchange 2010 and SQL 2012 Hyper V
