We have setup the BB Device Service for testing and are able to use the work browser on the playbook to make HTTPS connections over Wi-Fi to the corporate network. But I am having trouble with other connections.
1) With an HTTP connection, we can connect to a simple web site and are prompted for an http login. But after login we get Error 400 - This webpage is unavailable.
2) SSH / Telnet connections do not go through. BSSH gives no response. I also have PaderSync SSH on BB 9700 and playbook. On the 9700, it has a feature to specify the network connection(BES/MDS). But on the playbook, there is not such option.
3) RDP doesn't work. No response. No option to specify connection.
In the BDS interface, I do not see anything for MDS. I also don't see any documentation on MDS for BDS.
We don't want to provide VPN access for mobile devices. We would rely on the MDS feature. So any input on this feature would be helpful.
Can anyone provide input on BDS MDS, guidance on administering the MDS interface, or links to documentation?

I am looking for the same type of information.
What rdp app are you using? Did you try deploying via bds?
Our lan web apps are working well post activation.
Has anyone been able to connect to network shares?

I'm looking for answer to this myself. It seems like the BDS only allows https and http connections through the work MDS. I've tried setting the IT policy to send all work data through the BDS server and then using the RDP client by Todd and the citrix receiver both published from the BDS.
The citrix receiver allows me to authenticate and pull down a list off applications but if you connect to an application it fails. The RDP client just fails to connect to anything instantly. I seem to get thee feeling that BDS doesnt support traffic other than http and https through the MDS but that would be a real shame.

Was a solution ever found for this? I have a similar issue today. Playbook activated on BDS, can get to Internet sites from the Browser, but not the Work Browser. Also, in BB World under Work there arent any apps listed.
I have a Z10 also active through BDS, can get to Internet sites from both browsers on that device and able to view apps in BB World.
Also, the Playbook is on a wifi using a hotspot from the Z10.
