Problem with Secure Workspace synchronization on Iphone

Hi,

I setup BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10.1.1

I have a Blackberry Z10 working fine (managed with Blackberry Administration Console for Blackberry Device)

using an internal Active-Sync server

I am trying to setup a iPhone using Secure Workspace. The activation of the device works, I can see all the mail folders of the user but there's nothing inside the folders

When I look at the Active Sync log (IIS6 MS Exchange 2003) I a lot of these entries (error 401 Unauthorized) for the same "items"

Otherwise there are some HTTP 200 meaning some of it can be accessed

The setup for the Active Sync Profile works for the Blackberry Z10

I tried with or without SSL...same result tough it seems that it still want to use port 443

Here's a sample (IP, device ID and domain name has been replaced for dummy values)

Re: Problem with Secure Workspace synchronization on Iphone

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has resolved the iOS email syncing / push email issue.

Our iOS devices with work space / work connect app won't sync email until the app is opened and the SWS password is entered. My APN Cert is valid and when tested is successful.

Any advice is appreciated.

We are using active sync with exchange 2010 SP3.

Regards

Brian

Re: Problem with Secure Workspace synchronization on Iphone

Greetings bstent,

I finished setting up two iOS 6.1.4 devices (iPhone 5) today and all appears to be working well after some trial and error with the EWS Impersonation account.

I recommend the following KB to get you started:

You may also wish to review my post here regarding EWS Impersonation:
