Proxy Not Working On Bes 5.0

I cannot browse the internet from the Blackberry through the Proxy server after Bes . 5.0 was installed.  The Bes server and the Proxy server are on the same LAN.

The default Browser configuration and the default MDS browser configuration on the blackberry are set to Blackberry Browser.

When I try to browse google from the Blackberry, the blackberry displays an "error http Error 400: Bad Request.  The server could not understand the page request, or was unable to process it for some reason.  Please try loading a different page".

Under the http table under MDS Connection Service I have enabled "Authentication Support Enabled"  Under the Server URL the it contains the IP address of the Proxy server then the port number :8080.  Under the "Settings" tab I have a Domain Active Directory Account that has access to the internet.

Under the Proxy Mappings tab I have the same user credentials.  Under the proxy window I have the Proxy IP address followed by the port number.

I have saved this configuration and resent the service book to the blackberry device, but still not access.

Re: Proxy Not Working On Bes 5.0

I have carried out the fix as outlined in http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB23933 then restarted the instance and pushed out the service book to my Blackberry however.  I am still getting http Error 400: Bad Request when I try to browse from my Blackberry.  Would anyone else have any other suggestions. Ta.

Re: Proxy Not Working On Bes 5.0

So if you try to browse using IE (using the same proxy information that you use for MDS CS) on the BES server does that page display? Is MDS CS windiows service started? Do you use pull authorization rules?
