SQL Server Maintenance Jobs

Where are my BES SQL Server Maintenance Jobs?

I was looking at some Index Fragmentation issues, when I realized, I don't see any BES SQL Server Maintenance Jobs on my SQL Server.

Aren't these installed/configured by default when the BES DB is originally installed/setup?

I've checked both 'SQLServerName' > Management > Maintenance Plans and 'SQLServerName' > SQL Server Agent > Jobs.

Am I not looking in the correct spot?

Re: SQL Server Maintenance Jobs

Re: SQL Server Maintenance Jobs

Fooled,

Thank you for the reply.

How do I verify they are running? I skimmed the logs and did not see any indication, though I may have missed it. I'll take another look.

So then this KB article, http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB04426

is obsolete? RIM support pointed me to it when I opened a ticket.

Re: SQL Server Maintenance Jobs

I'm curious about this too, as I just found that same tech note.    If it's obsolete, how do you verifiy maintenance is occurring?   Our BESMgmt database is much larger than I would expect it to be since we are down to only about 60 users from a high of about 300.
