I have a customer with BES 126.96.36.199, and the users want calendar but not contacts to sync to their phones. I am not finding any way to do that. All I find is PIM sync off or or, but no selection for which PIM items. I think I remember you could do this in BES 4, but I'm not finding it in 5.
I see in Contacts on the phone that you can turn off sync in the phone, but it's too late. BES activation has already occurred and the Exchange contacts are already on the phone. I need a setting that prevents Contacts from even going to the phone in the first place, but we still want Calendar sync.
EDIT: I did find this setting, but under the user configuration, and I'd been looking for it as a global setting. I'd still like to know if it's available globally, though.
